Ridley 21oz Japanese Denim Tote Bag

This unique tote is an up-cycled product born out of the remains of a beautiful 21oz Japanese denim that was left over from a small production run. We used it to make a limited number of our classic NW1 style (currently available in-store only) and after consulting with Ken and Ivo (our head tailors) we decided to make bags out of it too. The nature of the 21oz is very thick and heavy and slow on our machines and so we wanted to use it for an item with a simpler construction. Named after Ridley Road Market in Hackney, which encapsulates East London's rich history of diversity, this tote has a vibrant character that will only improve over time.

• Features leather top handles and an adjustable herringbone shoulder strap
• Features a horizontal leather strap on the back for slotting through handles on travel luggage
• Includes an internal pocket big enough to fit a 15" laptop

Fabric and Trims

• Made in robust 21oz indigo selvedge denim from Japanese mill Nihon Menpu
• All fittings are 100% solid brass from Abbey England
• All leather is 100% Veg Tan Bridle leather has been hand-tooled
• Internal seams have been buggy lined
• Brass feet protect the bottom of the bag and provide structure for it to stand on its own
