Our unique hand-dyed indigo cotton scarves are a one-of-a-kind masterpiece, showcasing various West African traditional patterns and a special touch. Due to their handmade nature, expect delightful individual differences.
These scarves are crafted using a fascinating mud and stitch-resisting printing techniques, where mud and tree gum are intricately applied to the fabric with a wooden block before indigo dyeing. The mud resists the dye during the indigo dipping, creating distinct patterns. After the dyeing process, the mud is removed, revealing the scarf's original base colour.
