Orders to the USA up to $800 are free of US import tax, as standard.

Items ordered that are in stock should be dispatched within 48 hours from the date of the order being placed.

If any of the items in your order are backordered (i.e. stock discrepancy when ordering), we may need around 5-7 business days to manufacture the item. Email us before purchasing if you’d like a more accurate estimate.

Returns & Exchanges Policy

We offer a 30-day returns or exchange policy from the date of you receiving the goods. For more information please see below.

Returned or exchanged jeans must be fully resaleable, in new condition. This means no smoke smells, no dirty marks, no pet hair, obviously unworn and inline with our hemming policy (see below).

Please use our size charts to hopefully get the right size the first time. Email us for any assistance.

If garments have not been used in accordance with our care advice and recommendations stated on our website, and as such are classed as damaged through negligence, we cannot accept any returns or exchanges.

We are unable to accept returns or exchanges for jeans that have been shortened unless they are still 34″ in length or longer, as per information on each product page. Please contact us to check first if you have queries.

The customer is responsible for paying return shipping to us for exchanges, refunds, hemming or repairs.

Garments returned from outside of the UK should be sent by a courier service such as DPD, DHL, FedEx, UPS, TNT. Please do not use your national postal service if possible. Ensure you keep hold of any receipt as we are not liable for missing parcels without one.

If you post a return to us from outside the UK, you MUST clearly indicate that it is “RETURNED GOODS.” Otherwise, we are likely to be charged tax and duties when your return enters the UK. If this does happen, we will deduct the tax and duties from your order’s return or exchange value.

If in the unlikely event that a jean arrives to you damaged, please kindly take a photo of the packaging so that we can claim with our shipping partner. If the jeans have arrived incorrectly, not hemmed to the specified length, are incorrectly sized (we are human and some things can be missed) or for any other reason due to our fault, please email us and we’ll let you know the next step; we will of course reimburse your return shipping to us, just please for the sake of our small business use an economical method. We will respond to each problem or fault on a case by case basis, so please email us and someone on the team will get back to you.

Shop with confidence - we will cover all import charges to your door.Your order will be shipped using DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) service and we will take responsibility for import clearance, payment of taxes and import duties.

This will of course cost extra for us, but we believe this will make a better shopping experience for our European friends.

Due to the additional admin charges from our courier partners it does mean we have to put a surcharge on items sent to Europe, as a small business it is hard to swallow these ourselves unfortinately.

We prefer returns being sent to our Coal Drops Yard shop.

Our raw selvedge denim is delivered unwashed. Denim contains indigo dye, which has some rub colour transfer as dry goods. This is part of the natural cycle of the garment. The rub transfer on indigo fabrics does vary depending on the fabric and mill supplier. We try wherever possible to select fabrics with the minimum rub colour transfer but indigo pigment does sit on the surface of the cotton fibre and will naturally fade during wash cycles.
