The SE1 is a high rise with the back sitting higher to allow for the fishtail and cinch detailing. Similar to our E6 this cut is a true straight leg jean with a very subtle taper.

This cut is suitable for those who are tall and slim as well as those who are athletic or looking for a wider leg.

This particular denim from Japanese mill Collect is characterful and comes in a heavy 17oz which is going to age

Notes

High front rise sits above the hip, high back rise hugs the waist with a stunning fishtail and cinch.
The back rise is higher than the E14
Perfect for athletic body shapes or for those with curvier hips who need a bit of hip and thigh room. Due to the relaxed fit, they work just as easily on lean body shapes or for those looking for a wider leg.

Waist & Hip Stretching – Though pre-shrunk, raw denim stretches up to 2.5cm / 1" in the waist and hip over 30 wears.
Inseam Shrinkage – Though pre-shrunk, our jeans lose between 1" & 2" in the length on the first wash. We therefore add the needed shrinkage allowance to whatever length you request.
Denim Softening – Raw denim will feel rigid when first worn but will relax and soften over time. The denim will mould to your own body, fitting better with each wear.

Wash in lukewarm water, preferably by hand with a wool or delicate eco detergent. Soak only for 10 minutes and then rinse twice first in lukewarm water, then cold water.
If using a washing machine, adhere to your machine’s delicate or woollen settings and use a mild detergent
Always dry flat, never in a tumble dryer and away from direct heat

Cold wash only, or the denim will shrink by 5%
Wash inside out with mild detergent or none at all
They are Sanforized so will shrink in the length up to 1″, but shouldn’t shrink in the width
Raw denim will give up to a 1 1/2″ in the waistband, so the fit should be snug (but not restrictive) to compensate
